Pipe diagnostic

Shareholder SEKISUI developed a diagnostic technology that utilizes impact elastic-wave to quantitatively inspect and diagnose pipelines. Even non-visible aging characteristics are detected to prevent greater damages and to minimise associated costs.

The investigative work is conducted by inserting a robot carrying an inspection machine into a pipeline. The system then uses a non-destructive impact elastic-wave test to obtain a quantitative data that can then be used to diagnose the quality of the surveyed pipeline.
