PULL-INLINERâ„¢
The standard for environmentally-friendly technology
|
For more than 20 years the PULL-INLINER™ is used around the world for the quick and economical rehabilitation of sewer networks without any excavation work. In the past PULL-INLINER™ has set standards for environmentally friendly rehabilitation technologies. Through film and coating each contact of the wastewater system and groundwater is prevented. Thus, irregularities in the curing process are excluded as well as an outlet of resin components in groundwater or wastewater. The concept of PULL-INLINER™, outstanding for the rehabilitation of large diameters and high wall thickness, comprises of main and calibration hose, both impregnated with synthetic resin.
The PULL-INLINER™ main hose is a polyester needled felt liner. The calibration hose is impregnated at the factory with the same synthetic resin mixture as the main hose forming a homogenous material combination. The coating with its smooth surface provides excellent flowing characteristics resulting in an increased hydraulic capacity of the new pipe.
Material variants for the felt hose and the resin to be used permit the process to suit special situations, for example special applications in industry with extreme requirements on chemical resistance and thermal stability.

The layer system of PULL-INLINER™ consists of a homogenous combination of main and calibration hose, the outer film of the main hose and the inner film of the calibration hose. The main hose is normally a polyester needled felt hose of 3 to 30 mm wall thickness which is built up in stages until the required thickness is obtained. Two differnt types of PULL-INLINER™ are offered: Type A and B. Type A consists of a sandwich synthetic film with the structure PE/PA/PE mounted onto the hose on the outside. An ISO NPG or Vinylester resin is used for main and calibration hose. In special cases the main hose is impregnated with ISO NPG and the calibration hose with Vinylester. Type B of PULL-INLINER™ has a PE coating at the outside, which forms a watertight and diffusion-tight separating layer between the liner and host pipe after installation. The resin’s basic material, the hardener and the aggregates, as well as the resin mixtures used for impregnation, are subject to the quality control system installed at SEKISUI SPR Europe.
